syllable pattern on your word list.
Math Game Bags sent home today.

We have music and gym. 
Homework: Complete the word work sort-DELAYED UNTIL
TOMORROW. Please play the math bag game tonight.

We have gym.   Half Day 12:05 p.m. Dismissal
Homework: Read and update log.

A Day
We have a half day. It is Rainbow Color Day. 2nd grade is wearing green.
12:05 p.m. Dismissal      
Homework: We do not have homework.
Halloween Party:  Thank you so much to all of the volunteers for your donation of time,
supplies, or both.  We had a wonderful time at our party.
Snack Time & Allergies:  Please remember we are a nut free room.  Therefore, if the snack
says, “peanuts OR made in a factory with peanuts”, I will give your child a snack and ask that your
child eats his or her snack during lunch.  Thank you for your continued help in keeping our classroom
a safe zone for all students. 
PTO Thanksgiving Luncheon:  Our Lincoln School Thanksgiving Luncheon will be Thursday,
November 14th!  All students are encouraged to participate. Lunch is $2.45 for students and payment
should be sent by  Thursday, November 14th. We need many parent/grandparent volunteers to help on
this day. Please contact the office if you’re able to help out.  Unfortunately due to limited spacing,
parents and grandparents are only welcome to attend if they are volunteering. Thank you in advance
for considering helping us for this fun yearly tradition.

Stuff A Truck:   Thank you for the donations you sent in.  We, unfortunately, had the incorrect date.
We hope to have the correct dates soon and will hang onto the items until then.  Thank you!
  
Second Grade Music Program:  Our 2nd grade music program which will be on  November
21st at 6:00 p.m. There will also be an afternoon performance during school on that same day
at 3:00 p.m.  Here is a note from Mrs. McElroy, our music teacher.

Bead jar & pumpkin characters

The bead jar is filled.  In celebration, we will be taking advantage of popcorn day and adding a  pajama day, bring something soft like a stuffed animal, and a movie.  The movie is the Box Car  Children.  We just finished reading the book so we will have an opportunity to compare and  contrast how characters which goes along with our reading theme of character analysis.  I will  also have Capri Suns for the children.  Email me with any questions.  Thank you.                                                  Pumpkin character building is tomorrow from 10:30-11:30.  The children have drawn their  character and mapped out the supplies they need.  If you would like to come be a part of the fun  children creating with paper, glue, pins, and so much more, we would l...
