Bed Jar Celebration and Picture Day

Image
Tomorrow we have 2 things going on.  First we are having a bead jar celebration.  The children voted for an outdoor toy day.  I told them they may pick any outdoor toy as long as you say yes.  I have had all toys imaginable during this day including bikes, scooters, roller blades, remote control vehicles, balls, hover boards, hula hoops, etc.  I did tell the students that if they bring a bike, they must bring a helmet and I think this is a good idea for anything with wheels.  If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Also tomorrow is picture day.  Our picture day is in the morning before any of our recesses.   All students will have their picture taken regardless of the purchase of pictures.  Thank you!

Allergies:  We have a severe allergy to peanuts and white beans in our classroom.  Our classroom is a nut free room. Please check labels for anything that says peanuts, peanut oil, or made in a factory with peanuts.  On the last page is a list of safe snacks. If you are interested in further information about food allergies, you can check out https://www.foodallergy.org   If your child brings in a snack that is unsafe, I will ask them to put it away to be eaten later at lunch or at home.  I will provide them with a snack so they are not hungry. If you have any questions about the food that you are sending in for snack time, birthday treats, or par...
